What a terrible husband, but he sure was good to look at


I don't understand why she didn't have more anger about his deception. He was involved in gangs and criminal activity throughout their marriage. How humiliating to be handcuffed and thrown in a police car in front of all the neighbors. She drops out of school and struggles to get by paying for his lawyers, meanwhile he's hooking up with a guard in prison and jeopardizing his chances for parole and all she can do is recite a poem at the end. Bus driver must have really been putting it down for her to have a smile on her face in the face of all of that.
