I can't speak Korean that's why I must read the subtitles. At the end of the movie, the main protagonist Kwon Yeon Woo tells to Soo Yeong that he likes her. Is the translation korrekt or could it be translated by I love you too? Do two expressions exist like in English or German or only one like in French?
shareI am not a native Korean speaker (nor do I speak a lot of Korean), but I do currently live in Korea and have a rudimentary grasp on Korean.
At the end of the movie, he does indeed say that he likes her - 좋아해요 'joahaeyo' (as opposed to loves her, which is a separate word - 사랑해요 'saranghaeyo'). Exactly all the connotation that goes along with like vs love to a Korean I can't pretend to know, but I do know that two expressions do exist. :)
