Does he wear the suit the whole movie?

why would the texas rangers wear suits on horseback? I could understand if they were riding in cars, but, it seems silly to dress up and get your best clothes dirty on a horse in that kind of Texas heat. Probably would have been better to use the blue shirt like clayton moore and John Heart did with blue jeans and even to go further and use the red shirt like in the early comics

They have even used the look for later comics

I know there are many worse problems with the movie for many people but, this just bugs me.
