Sad news

My review is in process. But i rather kill the exitation of those who are expecting something else, by showing my review now.

I was hopping good things out of this one. I loved the trailer tought it was hilarious. I like "the defender" and "Missionary Man". I tought by seing the trailer I was going to see something on level of Steven Seagal "Urban Justice" or "Ruslan" but because of terrible photography and editing it looks like "Kill Switch".

I have to give credits to the script who isn't bad there is some well tought action scene and good jokes. But the terrible photography ruins it.

The photographer ruins the picture by shaking the camera all the time. It good in the Blair witch project or Cloverfield because the camera man play a character, but it's not the case in this movie.

Also this is supposed a music movie or a movie with music and the sound editing is terrible so sometime the sound is very loud and sometime very low. Like someone is turning up the volume up and down at random moments

It's a real pity because you have a decent script that is ruined by bad photography, and bad editing.

That's not cool.

Let people judge by themselves and give the movie a chance for success (good or bad Dolph needs and deserves it his career).

Today there's not much to keep people from downloading movies but at least please keep your reviews and judgments to yourselves until it's officially released!

If you look at the release date it came out the september 10 in Thailand.

So I saw it already. I did gave the movie a chance of success because I bought the DVD, and it sucks.

You have to imagine that all the image you saw in the trailer will be shaky and off center a second later in the real film.

Dolph is a deserving man but the photographer spoiled the movie. It really sucks.

There is some good moments because some of the script is very funny, so it's not all that bad.

I hope the photography will have more quality in "Icarus".

Well I liked it. Definitely Dolph's best in a while. The "shaky" cam effect reminds me of 24 - the t.v series. They do the same thing so it doesn't bother me at all. The DVD cover sucks though. Just some random photo of Dolph wearing some jacket and shooting some gun he never uses or shoots through the entire film.

I liked the movie alot. It has several funny lines and good action. Dolph looked hot playing the drums.

Gunnar Jensen: Bring it, "happy feet"!

On the contrary, I thought the movie was fantastic.

I had hopes for this being a B-movie die hard clone that works but it doesn't.

It's just too cheaply made. The dialogue is awful, the action scenes are poorly made, no good fight scenes. The acting is overall poor, Dolph too is worse than usual, over the top US cool american among the boring russians. Eric Roberts coulda brought some flair and glamour but wisely chose to stay home.

It was cool when the villain cut out the throat of some russian hostage tho.

I had very low expectations for this movie, but thankfully this movie was actually fairly good. Nothing oscar worthy or anything, but well worth a rental.
