Denise is very likable - the show is great...
I've always liked Denise Richards - ever since I saw her in Melrose Place then in Starship Troopers. I've always felt she's had really great screen presence (and NO - not just for her boobs!). I think her acting has always been decent - nothing spectacular, but she's just great to watch.
I've always felt she's had a bad rap with this whole Charlie/Richie/Heather Locklear business. When I saw her on the View, I cursed Whoopi for being rude to her (Whoopi is friends with Sheen, so of course she is going to be ultra-critical of Denise). Everyone knows that Charlie's a total whore and an addict (and isn't he a born again Christian or something?) and supposedly into kiddie porn now.
I find Denise to be a lot like some of the moms I know - very down to earth, funny, happy-go-lucky (and sure, sometimes a little potty-mouthed...that can be hard to curb when you're like that growing up). I don't think it makes her a bad mom to do a reality show. If she can make money staying at home and seeing her kids more often, why not? A girl's gotta make a buck, you know. The kids aren't in the show that much (and it's not like the public doesn't know what they look like - they are photographed enough with Charlie and his new chick as well as with Denise). They are sweet little girls and it's nice to see them interact with her.
Anyway, I hope the show does well. I, for one, am entertained and have enjoyed all the episodes so far.
