Crates... a scam?
Aren't crates just another way to basically make you buy items? I'm not falling for it. If Valve wants more of my money, they need to release Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Well you need to buy a key to open the crate. And if you're lucky you can get some very rare hats. But no one is forcing you to buy them, so what's the problem?
Besides, Valve has been releasing insane amount of new FREE content and still keeps releasing even it's already about a 3-year-old game. So I think Valve would definitely deserve the money.
