Love the show!
was just wondering if there was going to be a season 2. I hope so, cause I reakly really like it( the way the show is put and the over all content). If anyone knows, i'd really appreciate it ^_^
shareJust discovered this show this past weekend, and was immediately captivated by it. Unlike something like Meercat Manor or March of the Penguins, where the animals are anthropomorphized, the chimps are so human-like and endearing.
The first one I saw was where the five babies were introduced to the others (I can't help feeling like a sap, but poor little Zee!), then the Cozi one, and the one where Cussuns brings the five back from the Sudan. Now I want to see them all.
The story about Jao's early days at the sanctuary intrigued me; that he only wanted to be around humans and not other chimps at all. He created a nest with a newspaper and a bottle of water. I think they said he had alcohol and smoking habits. Curious as to how that happened. On Animal Planet's website, it also said some had drug addictions.
I was at the sanctuary a few weeks back and the camera crew was there in full force. They even let me watch some dailies with them.
