Brad should've won...

I still think Brad Pitt should've won the Best Actor statue at the 2012 Oscars. He was flat out robbed. He was awesome in this. I remember the first time I watched this back in the day how very impressed I was with his performance. I know there's a lot of people that think he's just a pretty face and he's not that great of an actor. I think this role proved that he is a very decent actor.

I'm not a fan, but he was excellent in Terry Gilliam's Twelve Monkeys. Have you seen that one?

Oh yes. Several times. Fantastic movie!! And Brad definitely should've won for that performance as well. 👍👍👍👍

I didn’t see The Artist so I can’t objectively say one way or another, but I agree that Pitt’s performance was outstanding in Moneyball. I’m glad he won for Once upon a time…., he plays that reserved yet effortlessly cool, there’s more to me than meets the eye type character so well!

I agree. This was a very nuanced performance. The character/real guy seems like a bit of an introvert which is very tricky to have as a leading character. Pitt played it well.

I was really impressed with the small part he had in The Big Short too. That character was really an introvert! Pitt is a good character actor.
