It had great performances, good characters and stories, good music. Much better than anything I've seen from Michael Mann, although I haven't seen Heat.

you haven't seen Heat are you kidding me,, drop what you are doing,, and go rent it now.. Heat is a perfect 10. this one was pretty dam good as well, great performances all around, loved this movie , having been to NYC a few times in my life,, never got to Brooklyn though,, but I did see the bridge,, does that count.
