I'll bite... No pun intended. This Anime is a step above Twilight but not by much. Although if you want a real good Vampire Anime watch Hellsing or Trinity Blood. I'll admit I like this anime and while I think it's similar to twilight, the fact remains that I know people who dislike Twilight that love this and vice versa. Sure Yuki can be a Mary Sue but at least she isn't accident prone. I've seen better Vampire anime bur I don't hate this as much as I hate Twilight. I could go on a tangent about Twilight but not here.

It's a lot better than Twilight, but does fall short compared to other (anime) shows featuring vampires.
