Season 3?

Hey - newbie to Vampire Knight here!
Just discovered it this past weekend and within like 2 or 3 days I flew through all the episodes of both Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty and read up to Volume 12 in the Mangas.
Whew! What a wild and crazy ride!
Anyways, since (as far as I can tell) the Anime series (up to Guilty) coincide with the Mangas up to Volume 10 (I'm reading the English translated versions in Canada).
Everything past Volume 10 (and even some of the stuff that was left out of Guilty) could hypothetically be leading up to what could be a potentially awesome 3rd Season/Series, especially with the new baddie Sara (she's creeperific!) and Kaname's *seemingly* having gone bad (doubtful, I'm sure he has some crazy, convoluted reasoning for why he beheaded Aido's Father) and all the going ons within the Vampire Hunter Association (more Zero please! Much, much more!). I'm gunna assume that however Sara is eventually taken out, and where Yuki stands with her respective relationships with Zero and Kaname (Team Zero!) would be a great place to conclude a 3rd series for the Anime.
I'm relatively new to Mangas and while the artwork is undeniably gorgeous, I'd much rather see all the action unfold in an exciting Anime.
So, I gather that it's been a couple of years since Guilty concluded *but* the Inuyasha series recently concluded their story with a final season 5 years after the original series had ended - so, my question is - to all those who are more informed and in-the-know regarding all things in the Anime World - Do any of you think that there would still be a large enough fanbase/interest to warrant a 3rd Season/Series of the Vampire Knight saga ever being created?
Thanks to anyone who can shed some insight on this subject of any future Anime development for Vampire Knight!

I would love that too, just finished season 2 and going to start reading the Manga now.

I agree with you. I'm going to get all the written material now. However, they should be kind to the fans and finish it out for us. I don't even speak Japanese and yet I'm haunted by the music and route for the characters. Please don't do another Joss Whedon "Firefly" or "Dollhouse". I hate when good programs get canceled. If it is a matter of funding, see if Netflix will work with you. Maybe dub it into more languages. In any case, it is too good to stop here with only two seasons.

Please, for the fans who wait for each and every installment, don't leave us hanging.
