who drove away with Toni?
I must have blinked because I missed this part. Ned was chasing the car Toni was in but she wasn't driving. Who picked her up?

I think it was some people who the father new that lived near by. Either he or she contacted them and then they picked her up.

Okay, thanks. That makes sense. Initially I thought she was being kidnapped, but the rest of the film didn't support that.
shareNo - she paid some of the "blacks" (Bruce's term for aboriginal people) to take her out - and it's implied that Bruce told her how to organise that.
The car she left in (old Holden Kingswood by the way) had the Aboriginal flag on the bumper.
