When they're performing at the pride festival nine people stand on the edge of the pool and jump in. This of course is correct as they are nine people on the team.

Halfway through the program they make a star kind of formation, and suddenly there are ten swimmers. It then continues to be ten swimmers until the end of the program.

I can't find any information about this here or on any goof site. I'm absolutely positive they were ten and I'd like to know why.
Seems very clumsy to make such a mistake so was is on pupose.?

I noticed the tenth swimmer too. I then looked at the earlier practices, the jogging scene, etc. and it's always nine plus Sara. You'd think the tenth swimmer was Sara but all ten are male and at the end of the ten swimmer program Sara is shown filming them. The scene after that is Fredrik and Volker discussing that they need to remove one swimmer so that there are eight on the team.

Ten swimmers seems like an odd, or is that even, goof as they could have done patterns using eight.

There's another error in that the movie says that the sport was originally called formation swimming. The synchronized swimming Wikipedia article never mentions formation swimming and instead says it was called water ballet and later rhythmic swimming. "Formation swimming" may be a translation issue from Swedish. Another error is that the movie says that women did not get involved until much later. Not true - while water ballet was male only in the 1980s women were participating in the 1900 decade.
