Great soundtrack. nice setting. and fantastic acting by the two leading ladies. even when the characters did something wrong you still felt sympathy for them. thought it was a better than average coming of age movie.

I have just finished watching the movie and enjoy it as well. I really enjoy the acting and the story. My rating is 8 and a half stars out of 10.
shareTotally agree. I wasn't enjoying the first 15 minutes, I thought I was getting a "difficult interracial teen lesbian relationship". I was afraid it would get any cheesier,
BUT
then it lost any cheese and became serious, thoughtful, compelling. I became totally engrossed by both actresses, even by the family members. Everything was just as it should be in a crazy unjust society. I wish more movies were like this.
