so what this movie is telling us is essentially

When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They're sending deadbeat dads with black hearts. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with them. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and trifficers. And some, I assume, are good people.

damn, what a shameful ending this was (and the bar was pretty low for this series)

Only liberal idiots weren't aware of those simple facts you pointed out.

You know Stallone wrote this script back in 2010 or so way before Trump said any of that horseshit, right?

reply

really? and in all that time he couldnt make it into a good film? a proper Rambo film? 9 years?

reply

Stallone is a good actor, but he was never a good script writer.

reply

I beg to differ. He wrote the screenplay for the original "Rocky" and I think a couple of the sequels. Abd we all know how good the original was.

reply

He didnt write Rocky alone, and yes, that lightning in a bottle is certainly worthy of praise (altrough i didnt fond the movie that good myself, i understand why many do). When he got big enough so others stopped telling him no, though, he never wrote anything good.

reply

Yeah, he wrote the original script back in 2009. The first draft was about Rambo battling Mexican drug lords and human traffickers to rescue a young girl.

Then in September of that year, he switched it up and stated that the film would be called "Rambo V: The Savage Hunt".
It was loosely based on a novel called "Hunter" by James Huggins.
It was to be about Rambo leading an elite special forces crew to hunt and kill a genetically engineered creature.

Once that idea was (thankfully) dropped, the script was rewritten several times by several people over the years.

Finally, in 2015, he pitched another idea about Rambo taking a "soulful, emotional journey with a powerful story". The producers decided to stick with the original story about the Mexican drug dealers/human traffickers instead of turning Rambo into a depressing sob story/drama.

Random fact.

> turning Rambo into a depressing sob story/drama.

Like the first movie?

reply

I suppose so, yes.
With a little less action than the first though, I believe.

reply

The action was more concentrated in a few scenes but also a lot more gory than First Blood.

I don't know, Rambo vs. Predator might've been interesting. RVP. Maybe he should've stuck with that idea.  😎

What I want to know is, why the hell didn't he just walk up to that trafficker guy, hand him the picture, and ask how much to let her go. All they care about is the money right? So pay ransom. He could mortgage his property if he had to. Then maybe after he gets the girl back and puts her someplace safe, return to Mexico, kill everyone, take back the money.

You just described the biggest gang in chicago, latin kings.

reply

That statement sounds pretty accurate, I don't know what you're bitching about.

reply

No. It's just telling us that's what happened in this particular story.

reply

he was right. fuck mexico

reply

👍

reply

Its what happens man, like its legit objective truth

I mean, why do you think some Mexican people leave their country to go to another one?
There not ALL bad, however without checked immigration, drug dealers and the cartels have free access into the USA

And that's what Trump always says, the media just cuts it all up, to make it look like Trump is referring to ALL Mexicans.
All so the media sells advertising space and so liberals can hate someone to distract their base from how shit their states are being run and all their candidates put forward since Obama

I just hate this bullshit with the liberals when they say. Well its not ALL xxx group.
YES, but that ignores the fact that a DECENT amount are xxx.

And then they dismiss any points and dismiss everything and think its case closed.
When in reality people like this (those liberals) aid and support cartels that use people as sex slaves for profit, how fucking weak of a person must you be, to just go along with this heinous bullshit

I mean you (liberals) must be some NPC's or something to be actually against building a wall for national defense and to stop human sex trafficking.
It's ridiculous
