A bunch of idiots on here trashing Stallone who is a legend. Creed 2 was done well and it showed Sly ain’t done yet. By the way Rambo 4 was the 2nd best is the series. So settle down kids and respect a legend

sharea single click after watching a film takes a lot less of your time than ranting and trolling in forums. It's more productive time overall because the majority of those posts have disappeared into the ether while your ratings are still there. You can go back and see how you rated a film at the time and after a rewatch see how it held up.

Yeah, I can as well since I've seen a LOT of movies as well. Plus, I studied movies in college and went trough all the history and I tell you this: if this your opinion of Stallone, well you are just as ignorant as 95% of people (a lot of them, of those I know personally, are complete morons anyways (I specified those I know personally so I didn't want to say it as a general rule)) who trash Stallone. Say what you want, but despite all his failures and bad decisions, he wrote one of the best script ever, the first Rocky.
Now, what did you do in you lifetime?
If I told you the meaningful things I'd done in real life, you wouldn't believe me, and neither would any of the momma's-basement-dwelling trolls on this forum.
Anyway, I will allow that Stallone has written one good script, and maybe given one or two decent performances over the decades. But he also wrote AND directed "Stayin' Alive", which is more than enough to cancel out all the good he's ever accomplished in his entire career.

Be honest. Did you really think a followup movie to Saturday Night Fever was going be good in the first place?? Not matter who was directing it. Other than the Bee Gee songs. Saturday Night Fever wasn't that good to begin with. Im not going to say that Stallone is best actor in the world. But he sure as hell has left an cultural impact that not many actors have. Its not like people go to Philadelphia and run up those steps or look at Rocky statue for nothing.

It's a monumentally, hilariously bad film, full of unintentional laughs, and I recommend it to anyone with a snarky sense of humor. And one of the chief things that make it SO BAD is that writer-director Stallone understood absolutely nothing about what made "SNF" so good.

Very likely, and it's probably why Tony Manero acts like as complete asshole, instead of the person he was in "SNF".
It's one of those films that gives you a glimpse into the mind of the auteur that made it, and with this film what you see is arrogance, misplaced anger, and zero understanding of musicals, dancers, of "SNF". Its hilarious!

shareWell, I can recognize that the first two "Godfather" films are incredibly well-made and complex, with stellar performances, exquisite direction, and a wonderful score... and I hate all the characters and don't want to spend time around people like that. I'm not incapable of enjoying films about antiheroes, I mean I enjoyed "American Psycho" for God's sake, but it's clear that I will never share your love for the "Godfather" films.
Can I ask, do you identify with anyone in the "Godfather" film cycle? Because I don't identify with any of them, maybe that's one reason you enjoy the films and I don't.
It's funny that you make the point about not being able to identify or like any characters because this is the main reason I absolutely hate every single Rob Zombie's movies. There is not one single character that I can associate or care about. They always have this disgusting hillbilly attitude and the passing is simply unpleasant and trashy. I hate those kind of directors who think that go over-the-top gruesome makes them great filmmakers.
And no, I don't identify to any of the characters in The Godfather, but it's really case by case. In this case, it doesn't bother me.
