I liked this, but thought "At Close Range" was more heartfelt and powerful. Coincidentally, it also takes place in Pennsylvania, but East Central area near Amish country. I believe it was actually filmed there, too.

Great performances by Sean Penn, Christopher Walken, M.S. Masterson, Chris Penn, Crispin Glover and the under-rated Tracey Walter.

I can recommend the 2017 movie Wind River. The themes are similar: lawlessness, cowboy justice and personal revenge.

Hell or high water. Waaaay better. Actually, the best within these themes.
Out of the Furnace is a big fat nothing next to it.

Hell or High Water is great. For some reason it seems to have slipped through the cracks.
