why does this movie exist? so many big names in it

i mean the movie might be good, but there are so many big names in this so it almost feels like its a kind of a write off for tax money or whatever.

Script probably seemed pretty good. I liked the movie, the bleak suspense and thought it was one of the best during that year, together with prisoners.

But its a slow film, almost not a thriller at all, and non-genre films tradistionally does worse with a broad audience.
