Just watched this yesterday, and was absolutely blown away.
I loved it for the amazing cast, all of my favorite actors, loved the whole dark evil theme of the film, the drama aspect, the fact that this wasn't your typical hollywood flick that you can guess what's going to happen, the only film I gave a 10/10 for personally.
Can someone recommend something similar ?
I also really liked the frozen ground & prisoners.

I'm currently only 40mins into it, but the dark theme reminds me of "The Place Beyond The Pines," "House of Sand and Fog" and the always delectably dark direction of Clint Eastwood's "Changeling" or "Mystic River."

I would like to recommend both Mud and Joe if you liked this movie, both of these movie blow this one out of the water, the cast in out of the furnace is better but the script is horrible, therefore both Mud and Joe is alot better in my opinion.
