Maybe I missed something, but did her boss fire her after the concert and if so why, I got confused when she got out of the car then was seen runing after her boss saying something about the pearls? Also, did she then go in and steal the pearls?
shareYeah I'm pretty sure she was fired in the car, there could be two reasons for this. One is that she was no longer needed because her song was a hit for the concert she was doing. The other reason could be that having Fausta still around would be a reminder of her fake success and a potential leak that she basically stole the music from her. It is probably the first reason though. She went back to the house and I'm assuming got in the same way she always did, sneaked into the lady's bedroom where she had spilled the pearls and quietly stole them. You know she is in the lady's room because you see Fausta reflected in a picture on her wall, as well as the sheets from her bed hanging as she picks up the pearls.

I think this scene is one of the best in this film. I had many questions on that scene. What i understood is that when people are unhappy and suffering, they need someone in the same situation to share and understand their pain. Now the lady is succesful, she was avoiding the pour girl because she would low her "high" profile. I think is a very poweful scene, very realistic, cruel and full of emotions also knowing that the girl affraid to walk alone.
