So if I made a painting just entirely blue, could I call it 'art'

Inarguably, you could. Whether or not it would actually be art is arguable.

Well actually a couple of years back a blank page sold for 10,000 Euro in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, so somebody thought it was worth something. Imagine if the artist(and by that I mean pretentious d i c k) had the insight to paint it blue? Millionaire perhaps?

Since there is at least one artist out there that has already done that, you could actually call it forgery.

My mom dragged me to see an exhibition of blue paintings. All they were were even coloured blue or black canvases, the most boring and insulting paintings I've ever seen.

Don't tell me, it's no use to me. Tell yourself if you want to but don't tell me.
