Ending?

The movie is very exciting, but, honestly, somehow i disliked the ending.. It all ends just too fast.

Although I enjoyed the director's interpretation of Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, I did find the ending to be derivative and predicable.

Well, I'd read the book, so I knew what was coming. Viewers unfamiliar with the book might well be surprised.

You know for once I have to say I think the alternate ending sucked. It came out of nowhere and completely changed the tone of the piece. I like dark endings but that ending was just too dark for this movie.

The ending that made it through while not surprising, did at least match the rest of the movie. It felt in place and didn't wreck the flow. The alternate ending on the other hand? Good God! Talk about mean spirited!

Anyway, I'm glad they found it but I'm even more glad that it was cut.

If you watch the directors cut of this high paced, dramatic film, the color of the blue screen slightly changes to purple then goes back to blue, I was shocked! But I agree the ending was, iffy, it lacked something.

I thought the twist was pretty amazing

I agree, the ending blue me away.

i didn't understand it the first time, but i saw the movie again and it all made sense, so go watch it again

When I first watched this movie. I thought the final 6 seconds was nothing more then unnecessary padding. But now I realize that they add a whole new dimension to the film. If the film had ended after just 75 minutes, it would have felt too incomplete.
