Overacting?

In the reviews, I read a complaint that Anil Kapoor over-acted, and perhaps over-reacted to the death of his wife.

It seems to me that when you come home to find your wife shot to death on the floor, your stunned deaf child grieving and not quite understanding the loss of her mother, and you know that your community will go up in riots like a tinderbox if the news leaks out that almost any degree of emotional reaction is justified. At least, should I be the dead body on the floor, I do not expect my husband, in the short term, to be calm cool and collected.
