When did Rain get a gun in the first book? He had one for like 10 minutes. He is not what I would call a gun person. I think he hasn't fired more then 20 bullets in all 5 novels combined.
I think humanity should be wiped out and then we can give evolution a second chance.
Well, this could be for two different reasons:
1) From a marketing standpoint, it probably helps to sell the movie as an action-thriller.
2) There's no telling how much Max Mannix changed in his adaptation. The movie is not going to be exactly like the book, so maybe there's more gunplay here. Who knows?
In the movie he fires a gun a bit in the first half of the film, so I guess they want to lay that up.🐭
