WTF, critics??!!

I thought Hick was very good, sort of like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, if Alice were the love child of Flannery O'Connor and David Lynch. The reviewers seemed to be looking for some deep, meaningful profundity; I was just looking for entertainment, which it certainly provided with its array of dark, oddball characters and incidents. And whatever one might think of the content, I can't believe a film with three such compelling leading performances would have garnered so much negative criticism.
