Did Eddie not know how old Lulie was?

*SPOILERS * SPOILERS*

I know she didn't tell him when he first picked her up on the side of the road, but its pretty obvious she's a minor, she looks young and acts young. So.... was he really really stupid or just really really creepy and didn't care?

Also my netflix crapped out right during the last scene of the movie. When she is on the bus in the very end did she decide to go back home to her mother or is she going to live with that lady in L.A.? Not sure if it was supposed to be ambiguous or if I missed something.

Fantastic movie though, I was expecting a comedy but boy was I wrong, Chloe knocked it out of the park she is really turning out to be a phenomenal actress.

Come to think of it, maybe be he didn't know...
But while watching I was clearly under the impression he knew and didn't care.

She is going to LA. I don't think this film deserves the hate it gets but it is not pleasant to watch (and nor should it be). However I fell the rape scene should have been cut as the effects are not at all dealt with and thus it come across as trying to shock for the sake of it.

The rape allows the viewer to accept the fact that Luli shot and killed Eddie. He deserved to die and Luli got her revenge.

I will rewatch this film again. It will be interesting if I view it differently. I disagree with myself know though the scen shouldn't have been cut as it is the at the very core of the film.

When Eddie and Luli stop in front of the field of fruit trees and Luli gets out and start walking and then Eddie get out of the truck and Luli start to run and Eddie chasing her in the field and we didn't see the rape but overhear Luli scare talking about happier times,

Guys like Eddie will go after young girls b/c they don't have the life experience to call them out on their BS. We like to think to we know it all when we are that age. Adults know this and easily manipulate us. Once we become adults it is not as easy to manipulate us. When I was young I remember guys talking to me and then realizing I was way to young. Some of them would say too bad you are too young while others would keep trying to get me to go home with them.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

stuff like that these days and you get labelled a sex offender just for looking

He did actually say in the truck, (paraphrasing)
Do you not think someone twice your age knows a little bit about life.

He's in his mid 20's, so he knew.
