He had a limp and walked with a stick. Was he the guy who kidnapped Jin Hyuk originally and did he beat up the wrong guy/kidnapper?
I'm confused!
It was a little confusing to me as well (I've started reading the manga, but haven't finished), but I'd say you're basically right.

The guy with the limp was the guy who had kidnapped Jin-hyuk -- but he wasn't the guy who had kidnapped the other boys 20 years later. That guy was a serial killer, and that was the guy Jin-hyuk beat up. It's confusing because the movie never shows us the serial killer guy, only the one who kidnapped Jin-hyuk 20 years before. The giveaway is the women -- the wife of the serial killer had the marks on her neck, the wife of the guy that took Jin-hyuk is the woman who went to live with her brother. And the houses are similar, but clearly different.
