Blooper?

I have the utmost respect for Branagh, but there's this scene early on where he leaves the cathedral, answers his phone ('Let it begin!') and then walks ominously out into Moscow, flanked by his bodyguards. With Russian basses singing.

But right as the camera pulls back, the bodyguard on his right stumbles to avoid running into an old babushka-lady.

It's supposed to show his power... like a general marching to war so it seems silly. I mean in reality, if he's so badass people would make way for his evil minions, right?

That's the kind of thing a no-budget director would just live with. Can't imagine they couldn't reshoot.

I didn't notice that ill have to look out for it again

Yeah I noticed when he stumbled too.

Utah! Get me two.

I did see it. It's not much but hey I love looking out for bloopers

Good grief. What are you on about? So the bodyguard stumbles, avoids running into an old lady. He is working for a person, Cherevin, someone who believes he is a Russian patriot by trying to bring down the US economy. Why wouldn't a patriotic Russian give way to an elderly lady? Cherevin would have given way and would expect his bodyguards to do likewise.

A rose for remembrance

Totally, it's not a blooper - it was to draw your attention to the fact the guy is focusing on his 'package', Cherevin, instead of where he is going. All 4 of them flanking him were staring directly at him, that is crazy power.

Well directed, but if you have the IQ of a raspberry spongecake then it was a blooper.

Ya Kirk-loving Spocksucker!

It's the nature of the babushka: they don't give a s--- about you, and you can't do s--- to them because they're an old lady.

I think it was a blooper, because I noticed a short smile from the bodyguard after he avoided the woman, like 'Oops.' :)
I don't think it was a well directed movie at all. But I'm glad they increased the pace towards the end.
