Horrid movie

and that dude was a PS**Y . Did he even have a penis to get her pregnant? And how out of line was he to get into her and her ex husband's converstaion that night he was there while dropping the kids off? He should have left the apartment and let them alone.
Then he adopts a little forgin baby . Creepy... a single guy adopting.
Maybe if the guy had actually been young looking and attractive I would have bought this story . And " I pulled out MOST of the time" ? These brilliant people know all about birth control , hu? LOL

He got into the conversation because she had told him how she felt when she tried to talk to her husband and how her husband made her feel she lost her voice and that she could not say what she really meant. He was seeing how she was struggling with talking to her husband and how she really NEEDED to be able to say out loud and to his face what she felt about him and their relationship. Sometimes friends can help another friend be able to voice what is in their heart and mind that needs to be said out loud.

He was only giving her the voice she felt she lost whenever she spoke to her husband.

I really hated that scene too. Her reason for feeling inadequate in her marriage was because she couldn't speak for herself. Then in the ex-husband scene she still can't speak for herself until the boyfriend speaks for her. It's like, yet again, she needed a man's validation to affirm her own feelings. I call that scene a fail.
