Well, if you wanna see the 'origin' of this genre, I recommend "The Graduate". Other more recent movies I'd recommend are "Cheri" (with Michelle Pfeiffer as the 'older woman') and "The Reader" (with Kate Winslet as the 'older woman').

There is another one "Crush".

Best movie of this kind is from the 70's: "Minnie and Moskowitz" by John Cassavetes.

And how can anyone forget Harold and Maude?

'Tune in Tomorrow' aka 'Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter'(Barbara Hershey & Keanu Reeves), Something's Gotta Give, sort of: Keanu again!

It's one of my favourite movies! It was made in 1990, so Keanu was only 26 and he does it fairly well. Barbara Hershey is great! But it's Peter Falk as the Scriptwriter, who makes the movie. I haven't read the book , but books and movies are always hard to compare. Only way to know is get it and watch it!

saw it for that reason and was kind of disappointed in it though.

Agreed, watched this last night and enjoyed it as well; Catherine Zeta Jones was stunning and John Schneider was hilarious

Anyways a couple similar movies not mentioned are Spread (which I also really enjoyed even more than this) and Hall Pass (not as good as this) which focuses mostly on Owen Wilson but there are older women and younger guy scenarios. I certainly can relate to all three of these movies in some way
