Great documentary. Missing MJ.
I enjoyed this documentary and I'm interested in Lenny's life. Great basketball player, I think he would have been an excellent Celtic. Such a tragedy, I still remember when this happened.
When I watch footage of Lenny playing ball, I see a superbly gifted athlete. In my eyes, he was smooth/fluid, explosive and aggressive at the same time. He could get to the basket in a way that few could. Great jump shot technique, I think he would have been an excellent shooter in the NBA as he released the ball very high. I think he would have been a small forward to maximize his talents but some think he would have been a power forward.
Lenny had some classic games at Maryland vs UNC and Michael Jordan. I would have enjoyed hearing MJ talk about Lenny's game. He probably has a unique perspective on "what might have been" - wish we could have heard it. The documentary mentions that he sent flowers to Lenny's mother, that was nice.
RIP Len Bias and brother Jay Bias
