Name a worse horror film.

I'm genuinely curious to see if there is anything out there worse than this? It was so bad I struggled to even find it funny (apart from Debbie coming back at the end to fight the evil spirit, that was laugh out loud hilarious!)

R.I.P Quinneh and Toni. True Northern Heroes

in my opinion the paranormal activity series and the blair witch project and book of shadows, at least ouija was fuunny

reply

Human Centipede Series. It goes downhill badly after every sequel. Problem is the first one isn't as gory and as disgusting as people made it out to be and it was very boring. On a scale of 1-10, I gave the first one a 0.5. Everything else got worse by 10 times.

reply

I completely agree about the first two but I liked Book of Shadows.

reply

Simple..."They." What do I win?

reply

Good call, that movie was really bad.

reply

I haven't seen Ouijia yet, but the remake of The Fog is one of the worst horror movies I have ever seen.

Remember Sammy Jankis.

I agree about The Last Exorcism 2 as that movie was awful.

The worst:

HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH

reply

Tom Atkins and Dan O'Herlihy made Season of the Witch tolerable.

reply

No way. Halloween 3 is great. The only reason why people say it sucks is because it has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the Halloween movies. It should have been named something else. It was unique and entertaining.

reply

I hated that movie as well. I don't know if it's worse than Ouija, but it's proof that a decent movie can be utterly ruined in the last quarter of its run time.

reply

No way, Inferno is like the best sequel after the first two.

Occulus (boring)
The Blair Witch Project (over rated & boring)
The devil inside (Don't even get me started)
Annabelle (could have been so much more)
Halloween ORIGINAL (Yes, I said it)

There's more, much more.

Just about any new horror movie. It's like they forgot how to make horrors well.

All of them are boring.

I agree with all of your list except the first Halloween only because it had moments that were well done.

And Max the king of all wild things wanted to be where someone loved him best of all.

reply

I take my words back about Halloween, or rather substitute them, Halloween is a boring film (for me) but not worse than ouija.

Ouch, blaspheme!!!

Original Halloween is a classic and pioneered the slasher genre. Jamie Lee Curtis, one of the true scream queens, is awesome. The repetitive and eerie music. You might as well be knocking Friday the 13th (original). Quite frankly, you wouldn't have a horror genre today without both of those. I wished the younger generation would appreciate the classics for what they are, a hell of alot more than new pos movies like ouija.

Occulus was good also, though you have to let yourself emerge in it to really get it. Still much better than ouija.

I agree with the rest of your list.

reply

You meant without "Psycho" didn't you?

reply

I love Psycho, Norman Bates is one of best (possibly one of the first) cinematic serial killers. Awesome movie!

reply

I agree with everything you have stated about the original Halloween, it's atmospheric well paced, cinematography is amazing, soundtrack is awesome and it is a trendsetter in that genre, but for some reason, and I'm only talking about myself here, no matter how many times I have watched it, (I'm 40 and believe me I've watched it countless times) I just get bored & trust me I've watched it countless times hoping that it may grow on me. But nope, doesn't happen. So yes, great movie, but does nothing for me.

As for Mr Vorhees & Mr Kruger, their in my top 10 of the slasher movie Kings! Just wish I would enjoy Mr Myers (not Mike) ;) as much.

reply

It sucks, but you've watched it countless times? Lol. So, everything's awesome except the movie? Lol, wow dude.

reply

The Village. That movie bored the hell out of me.

Oculus was pretty much the only good horror movie of 2014! Deliver Us From Evil was ok.
Annabelle sucked.
