the biggest problem is the premise itself

so..im kind of a fan of this..im more of a fan of the competition part of it all..the reason this show failed in the ratings is because it didn't live up to its title or promotions..there's nothing even remotely scary about this show..once i put those assumptions aside halfway through episode 1, it was kind of enjoyable..you cant make something scary when there's guys with cameras all over the place..there's no fear of anyone's life being in danger because the producers could end up with a huge lawsuit if something were to happen..so all safety measures are in place..and like everyone on here says, its so cheesy when the narrator talks about killing people..i dont mind them saying that so and so got killed off...but dont go on and on about how someone was buried alive or eaten by rats..its just lame like that..

because they are so preoccupied with trying to make this show scary, they come up short in the competition part..the challenges or whatever are lame..all of the execution ones are basically the same thing..having to unlock or untie yourself from something..the group challenges are alright..but they still aren't that interesting..and its because they want to make it scary into some kind of death scenario...

the best thing about this show is the death box..it really creates some interesting drama..i like how sometimes they keep it a secret..sometimes they dont..except i didnt like when they revealed it was rodney just cuz he was going home..maybe an episode earlier would have been good..

they need to tweak a few things and this show could be really good..oh and they need a better casting director..erica, ted, nasser, and kelly were alright..but the rest of them are/were really lame..
