How the hell did this not get a G?

I've been wondering ever since its premiere. You'd think something was clearly fücked up with the motion picture association for giving this quite possibly the LIGHTEST PG EVER!!! And for the most part, they are, rating almost anything nowadays higher than it should be!!!

At very least they had mercy on the Peanuts reboot and gave it a G, despite both it and The Muppets being undoubtedly similar in tone. So if they showed mercy with The Peanuts in 2015, why didn't they show it with the Muppets, four years earlier??? 

Well I will NOT make any assumptions about your age or intelligence because people with absolutely 0 class do that to argue or kick off fights on blogs or whatever is online.

I myself 1-2 years ago, wondered the rating of this movie and only 2 tiny pieces out of the movie "immediately" lead you to be believe this could NEVER be a rated G movie.

I didn't know at first what the barbershop quartet was humming when they were singing their song and cutting Jack Black's hair. Then it was explained to me, it was "Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit". I was like ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...that's why Jack said, you're ruining a classic.

The chickens were making noises to imitate singing of the song "F You" which is performed by Cee-Lo Green.

BOTH songs in a way of R Rated status. Why ? WHY did The Muppets as characters or Disney say, hmmmmm let's put this song in this movie of a legendary artist, who committed suicide. If a kid asked...what song is that......and you tell them the artist, they will indeed find out the result of the singer.

Cee Lo's song was dubbed rated PG when they did "Forget You", but it still doesn't hold a candle to the Rated R version of the song. Wouldn't a kid ask...who sang that chicken song...and find out, WOW mom....there's a bad word in the song.

Those 2 moments/songs alone give this a PG rating and I mentioned this 1-2 years ago on IMDB. I may go and see if there's any updates on it.

I hope this answered your question thoroughly and please don't respond with a rude remark.

Thank You
