Hat's off to writer & director Paddy Considine for this movie. Well done! Did not realize he was so talented. Kudos to the casting director as well for having such an intuitive eye for actors who truly deliver. I can't think of anyone more perfect for Joseph's role than Mr. Mullan. In fact, I have to say Peter Mullan has never disappointed in any of his work that I have seen. Olivia was superb and Eddie Marsan was brilliant too.

I thought it was a pretty solid movie with great actors. But we've seen this story -two broken characters that find each other- a hundred times. Nothing new here.

I'd give it a 6/10, maybe 7 if being generous.
