considering its diet and social behavior I doubt it is anything like a ferret and hence unless you have a 40 acre property, living at same latitude as they do and have adopted like 2 male and a female.. it would probably not be a good idea to own one of them.

Sure, they're cute, but they have big claws, eat only bugs and scorpions, and with all the scent-marking they like to do, you just know they'll be spraying all over your house.

Get a ferret, they look like meerkats only they are PETS, not wild animals. They also can be litter trained.
shareAs you saw from watching the show/movie, they are very social animals & need to live as a society. So living as a pet would be very bad for them. And did you see the claws on those cute little critters? Deadly.
