Both. When there are countless D1 college teams without a single European-American and several NBA teams without a single European-American on the roster, yes I did find it amazing that a few Euopean-American basketball players would find their way into this film.

The color matters because I've been told all my life that racial representation matters. That, let's say, it's wrong for a corporate board of directors to be comprised soley of European-American males (even if they are the best qualified). That there are not enough black qb's in the NFL (even though there is not a single European-American cornerback in the league). That there should be special recruitment and retainment of minorities so that businesses, the government, the military, schools, sports leagues, etc. "look like America" or are "more diverse" or "multicultural". It's amazing the response (or lack thereof) you get when these arguments are used in the reverse.

No, I have not seen the movie. I've heard Adam interviewed about the movie on our local sports talk radio station. When he said he wanted to profile players at the event and said he wanted them to be culturally and racially diverse, my first thought was, "Dang, where is he going to dig up some European-American players to profile."

well seeing as they were highly rated he didn't have to dig them up, they were there by merit...smh
