She's The Man (Possible Spoilers!!)

This movie seems very similar to or dare i say a copy of the movie 'She's The Man'

Well at least a lot of plot points and climax scenes (where the lead character revels that she is a female in front of the sports arena crowd) are same as its in She's The Man

Hope its not a pure rip-off like 'Daddy Cool' is of 'Death at a Funeral' or 'Partner' is of 'Hitch' or 'Bichhoo' is of 'Leon' or....(this could go on and on!)

i haven't seen the movie and neither would i bother to watch it in near future but i know its copied or 'inspired' from she's the man

maybe its not for NRI Indians who ever said that Hindi films were made for the south asians living in foreign countries??

Yes I noticed the same thing, although it is not exact copy like many other movies, it's similar. It's different in the aspect that when he finds out Veer is Veera it's much more dramatic. Also the whole setting it really different and the overall environment is different. But she does pretend to be her her own brother (but in She's the Man there is an actual brother) and Shahid has interest in his sister or whatnot.

But she's the man is also inspired by Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Also about a girl dressing up as a man. So, even Hollywood takes movie plots from other things.
