disapointing. no insight, no real behind the scenes


i love obama and was really hoping to see him unguarded, but this doc gives us little. and as a "clinical" analysis of the campaign machinations and processes it gives us even less.

this doc was like a really bad, really condensed recap of what you already knew watching cable news.

the one highlight was the clip of obama on the eve of the election when his grandmother passed. that made me cry. and love obama even more.

...actually, I thought it was pretty good. I liked how it had some of the stories of some of the less well-known staffers, such as that asian fellow who had the last name Cho. His story vaguely reminds me of my own, in that he came from an immigrant family. Interestingly, I noticed that his family was very supportive of his participation in politics, which is different from my own experience.
