Dumbledore Snape question - SPOILER

In the dream memories of Snape near the end, Snape was waving his wand around and Dumbledore looks at Snape and says "Lilly?" and Snape said "Always" What did this mean?

reply

Snape has the same patronus as Lily ... a doe. Snape was showing Dumbledore that he had the same patronus as Lily because his is in love with Lily. Dumbledore says, "After all this time?" and Snape replies, "Always."

Was it Snape who produced 'the Patronas charm' when Harry was with Sirius by the lake? And Harry saw a doe and thought it was his dad.

I just found this page. I'll have to give it a once over.

Edited for spelling. Petronas to patronas. Hah-hah.

Yes. I didn't think the movie made that very clear. Snape placed the sword in the lake, got Harry's attention with his patronus and then hid behind a tree to watch and make sure Harry found the sword.

The book also explained that the sword that was in Bellatrix's vault at Gringotts was actually a fake. Snape had the real sword the whole time - until he gave it to Harry.

There are two scenes with patronuses (patroni?) by a lake. The scene where Harry and Sirius are by the lake at Hogwarts, about to be attacked by the dementors, is in POA. A patronus in the form of a deer comes along and drives the dementors away. When Harry looks to see where it had come from, he sees a figure from across the lake and thinks it's his father. Who he actually sees is himself, having gone back in time.

The scene where Harry sees a patronus in the form of a deer, and it leads him to a frozen lake where the sword of Gryffindor is located is in DH1. He and Hermione are hiding in the Forest of Dean, and Harry has no idea where the patronus came from. He later learns (in DH2) that Snape has sent it to lead him to the sword.

Oops, I completely misread that question. The scene at the lake with Harry and Sirius was from the Prisoner of Azkaban. It is Harry from 3 hours in the future who produces the Patronas , which is a stag, not a doe. The scene form the Deathly Hollows Part 1 was the Sword of Gryffindor in the Forest of Dean.

It meant:

"Dear God, dude, don't tell me you never got over your high school girlfriend? And at your age?"

"No, I didn't, and you have no room to talk, asshole."

reply

Huh
