Am I the only one who despises him and I was glad that he died? In fact, his actor Alan Rickman (RIP) should NOT had play him. I would rather see Tim Roth as Snape instead!

I think you're the only one! Everyone else finds him fascinating or has a crush on him, or both (like me).

Seriously, he's the character who's the most like me and whom I identify with strongly when I re-read the series and know what's really going on with him. And FYI I envisioned him as Alan Rickman with a scraggly black wig, well before the movies were planned, or cast, so I can't support you there either.

I'm sure you're not the only one who feels that way, but I happen to think Alan Rickman was perfect for the part of Snape.

Disliked him till what happened at the end of the movie when he gave Harry his memories and it was a huge reveal what we found out at that moment.

Why of course, but I kinda feel bad for Alan Rickman (RIP), he was typecast as stiff villains.

And he plays those villains great. He's Snape.
