How did Ron and Hermione join Harry in the Room of Requirement?

In the film, Ron and Hermione burst into the Room of Requirement to help Harry from Malfoy. However, this shouldn't be possible.
You can only enter the Room for Requirement if someone else is in there, if you know what form the room is. (E.g. In the Half-Blood Prince, Harry could never enter when Malfoy was in there as Harry didn't know what he was doing in there.)

Am I missing something or is this a plothole in the film?

reply

In the movie, Harry entered first, alone. Then Draco, Crabbe and Goyle came in. Later Ron and Hermione joined the party.

reply

Yes, I know. In the book and previous movies, you can't enter the room of requirement unless you know what's in there. Draco, Crabbe and Goyle knew what was in there, Ron and Hermione did not, so they shouldn't of been able to enter.

reply

Ron and Hermione did not, so they shouldn't of been able to enter.

They knew Harry was in there and they knew what he was doing there.

That is more than Draco and his posse knew. They knew Harry was in there but they didn't know why. They went in to get Draco's wand back from Harry.

Keep in mind the difficulty others had in finding the Room of Requirement in Half Blood Prince is was largely because they didn't know it existed or the nature of it.

By the time of Deathly Hallows, Ron, Hermione and Draco were all very familiar with this room and its workings.

reply

Just another plot hole. No one should have been able to enter unless they knew what room Harry was using at the time. You are right that neither Ron nor Hermione would have known what room Harry was using and unless Draco and his friends entered when Harry did or heard him say what he wanted, they would not have been able to get in.
