A SAD FACT - Scene to Scene Copy of UNKNOWN

Such a sad thing. Unknown is such a great movie with a great plot. Ripe of Sanjay Gupta to rip off.

Unknown Synopsis -" Five men wake up in a locked-down warehouse with no memory of who they are. They are forced to figure out who is good and who is bad to stay alive."

What Sanjay Gupta reveals about Acid Factory in an interview - "Your memory is the source of all emotions. It is also the source of our guilt. What if a killer would wake up one day with his memory erased? Would his crimes cease to exits? What if an innocent wakes up one with his memory erased and perceives himself to be a criminal? Would that change his perception of reality?

Acid Factory is about a group of characters whose sense of past has vanished in a haze of coma like they have woken up from sleep only to discover that reality could be a figment of their imagination."

I advise you guys to go watch Unknown, it is a very good movie and don't spoil your experience by watching this first. The movie is out on DVD or you can download it online through torrents.

Have you seen the movie as yet to know whether it is a scene to scene copy or not? A lot of movies are inspired by books, and the thought can be similar, but the treatment can be of course completely different.
I think it is the treatment that makes the film, otherwise, Titanic was made before as well, and so was Devdas.
Would you call Anurag Kashyap's Devdas a copy?
An idea can be explored in multiple ways, and I think we should give writers and directors to explore it.
I think a lot of us suffer from this stupid notion that west makes better movies than east, I think, we all have equal amount of rubbish. It is just that when a director like Scorcesse or Tarantino or Kaufmann's make movie, you don't know their inspirations.
The books, the early works, the painters, inspirations in everywhere.
And i am very happy at least Sanjay Gupta is getting inspiration from some better sources than a lot of sing and dance bollywood movies.
That people like you go and watch, and clap, come back and write *beep* about someone who is trying to make some good cinema.

I don't know man. My parents just saw this movie and they said they liked it, and my dad usually doesn't like Sanjay Gupta's movies. I admit, I too, had I seen this movie before I had seen/heard of Unknown, would have stated that they are finally starting to make some good movies in Bollywood. But I guess my prejudice against scene-to-scene copying bollywood movies will never let me find out how good this movie is (or isn't) just because I happenned to see Unknown before I got to see Acid Factory.

stfu it's a ripoff like every single one of sanjay gupta's movies before. stop being an apologist for bollywood. it's the most pointless pursuit ever.
