It was in Malibu, California.

Malibu... The scenes late in the film were in Northern California though and its beautiful. I will live there one day. Its warm during the day but DRY, the nights are Cool and Comfortable. Nor Cal is probably one of the best places on Earth.... But Malibu aint too bad either lol. Great cinematography
