George Simmons Future

So at the end of the movie, what do we think happens to George Simmons? Do you think he learns anything and actually grows as a person? Or does he just fall back into his old routine and stays who he is? For example, do you think he tries to keep a relationship with his parents and his sister and her family?

I'm asking this because George makes a remark at the very end about how his body is now healthy but his mind/brain still has a way to go. Personally, I think George does try to change but ultimately, he is who he is and eventually just continues being the person he was before he met Ira.
