Though, it would be ironic if the 'main' bloodline which Desmond follows turns out to be an illigitimate child he had with Christina (the girl you visit the night after the tutorial when you part ways with your brother).
Well still a lot of time passes in the game. It takes place over 10 years, so that changes a man. I bet you that it is Rosa he settled down with. After so many years you lose your wild hairs. However it would actually create a funny point in the story if it was Christina's child that became Desmond's ancestor. It's certainly not impossible.
