The controls on this game...

Suck giant, diseased ogre balls!!!! I've never seen such an interesting and good-looking game have such HORRIBLE controls in my life!!! Plus, in the 21st century there's absolutely NO EXCUSE for not having a button map in the options menu. The booklet to the game doesn't even mention "Eagle Vision". Whoever was responsible for this aspect of the game ought to have a piano dropped on their head and if they survive that, they ought to be cast out on a desert island, never to be heard from again. I'm about to give up this game because I just can't stand the controls. I just got done with Skyrim, GTAV, and Red Dead Redemption and they all had good controls, but this game is friggin' retarded!!!!

Some missions can be a bit tricky but you get the hang of it eventually. The fifth Assassin Tomb was definitely annoying.

I absolutely LOVE this game, but I equally HATE these sucky, god-awful, unintuitive controls- They REALLY hamper an otherwise wonderful game. I'm in Venice now and I still hate the controls- they make combat and climbing SO much harder! But I'll still be buying III and IV because the game totally rocks!

Also- Thanks for the heads up about the 5th Assassin Tomb. I'm about to start it soon and now at least I'll be prepared and won't be quite as enraged about it.

And I love the Glyph puzzles- they're very unusual.

First off, before you buy 3 and 4 you need to get brotherhood and revalations(unless you got the ezio pack). I never really had any big problems with the controls (aside from the occasional accidental jump) and I had a much worse time playing the stupidly overrated red dead redemption(bad controls, story, visuals, and lead character). The AC controls get more refined with each sequel, so you will be able to traverse the world easier and dispatch guards and templars with more brutality and finesse.

I didnt mind controls as much as Camera. damn whneever i approach a wall to make a jump it suddenly turns to other side completely neutering what i was doing.
