White couple , I'll pass.

A black couple or a black man with a white wife may have saved this indy.

Why not a white man with a black wife???

Actually, why does their race even matter? I haven't seen the movie yet. Is the dialogue somehow more suited for blacks than whites?

Now I'm really curious about this movie!

The OP is a racist troll. He’s SO funny.

reply

It would have been shit no matter what colour they were.

reply

Wait for the Netflix adaptation - they'll swap the husband out with a black guy

reply

No it’ll be a lesbian mixed race couple

"No it’ll be a lesbian mixed race couple".

Bingo!

It does not benefit a film to whitewash it. A Black hero is what the audience wants to see. Be that a black woman, trans or man hero.

reply

You see that's funny because when I see a new show where the main characters are black or it has a majority black cast, I skip it. Black shows and movies don't appeal to me.

Take the new show "The Man Who Fell to Earth". As soon as I saw that the main characters were black... insta-skip! Or the new CW show "Tom Swift". When I started to read the description which said "Tom is a billionaire inventor who" and then I stopped right there and skipped it. A black Ironman ripoff, seriously? Also not very realistic. How many black billionaires or black inventors do you know of?

You want to know what the most ridiculous and asinine piece of fiction is? Wakanda. Seriously, even if there actually are infinite parallel universes, there isn't anything even close to Wakanda in any of those universes unless it was first built by White people or aliens and then blacks took it over. The entire concept of Wakanda is just so damn bonkers and crazy even for comic books that it is 100% unbelievable.

So OP, I can't blame you. You don't like movies with White people (which White people invented)? Well I don't like movies with black people so I guess you and I are the same.

reply

Touché brother, touché!

reply

Yes. You and he are the same.
