confused over hera and helios death

arnt the gods supposed to be powerful with godly powers we know they have strength , energy projectiles, shapeshifting , elemental control and othes but presumably they cant be kille by mortal means like arrows, swords, disease etc, but it makes sense that kratos can kill the gods with his various mythical, magical , god made weapons but he kills helios by merel ripping his head of and he simply snapps heras neck.

how can gods possible die this way arnt they suppsed to have some sort of godly invulnarability, surely hera shouldnt die form a neck snapping

I really don't know, but here's my guess: Kratos is not human. He's a demi-god. I've always assumed a god can kill a god. Plus, I seriously doubt that they're actually dead.

In the Iliad we had Aphrodite injured from what I remember to be a simple sword from a whilst person. The Greeks have the gods powers but they also could be killed.

Helios was weakened from The Titan crushing him and then tossing him over to the ledge.

Hera mentioned that she was using her power to keep the garden alive and The Gods seem to get weaker the more that die.

Imdb is not a pit. Imdb is a ladder.
