My Two Cents-pretty decent, actually(minor spoilers)

MAN, AM I GETTING SICK OF SEEING THE OBLIGATORY VOMITING SCENE IN ALMOST EVERY MOVIE I"VE WATCHED IN THE LAST YEAR!! (ahem) OK, Having vented on that- I found HIT AND RUN (2009?) a VERY pleasant surprise, and the best horror film I've seen in the last six months minimum. Yet, I must continue to keep reminding myself that at least half of the reason for that is by default, there has been so much absolute *beep* churned out the last year.

Synopsis: Not really giving away much here, this is all on the home video box. Girl (Laura Breckenridge, who looks SENSATIONAL in Boots!Woo-HOO!!) has a bit too much to drink, goes off-road on way home, gets home to find her parents gone for the weekend. She hears a noise in the middle of the night, goes downstairs to find to her horror there is a guy impaled on her grille. She panics, tries to hide the body and cover up the crime-first mistake. Not making sure he was dead is the second. Weird things begin to happen, and she deduces from the news that the person she hit was a mild-mannered teacher who loves kids. But things are not always as they seem.

I recommend it highly, but again, ONLY because there's so much crap floating around out there. 6 & 1/2 out of ten.
